ROYAL VISIT TO DUBLIN HRH THE PRINCE DAVID RECEIVES THE ATTORNEY GENERAL OF THE REPUBLIC OF IRELAND AT A PRIVATE DINNER

His Excellency Dr. the Chevalier James O’Higgins Norman, Special Envoy of the Royal House of Georgia to Ireland, hosted a private dinner in honour of His Royal Highness The Prince David of Georgia, at the Stephen’s Green and Hibernian Club on St. Stephen’s Green in Dublin.
The private dinner followed a visit to Leixlip Castle in Leixlip, County Kildare.
 
The Prince David received the Attorney-General of the Republic of Ireland, Máire R. Whelan SC, at the Club. Attorney-General Whelan is the first lady to hold this position in Ireland. During the private dinner, which was also attended by many distinguished guests, Prince David and Attorney-General Whelan discussed many matters relating to Georgia, its current situation and the similarities between the two countries.
 

 
 
At the end of the dinner, Dr. O’Higgins Norman thanked the Attorney-General for her attendance, and His Royal Highness for accepting the invitation to visit Dublin. His Royal Highness The Prince David replied, thanking the Attorney-General for accepting to be at the dinner, and all distinguished guests present for their attendance, support and help, and proposed a toast to His Excellency The President of the Republic of Ireland, Dr. Michael Higgins.
Amongst those in attendance were The Duke of San Jorge, The Marquis of Ferris, The Count of Boluda, The Baron de Giorgio, The Baron and Baroness McClafferty, Sir David I'Grady Roche 5th Baronet of Carass in Limerick, Sir Robert Aske, 3rd Baronet of Aughton in York, Lord and Lady Aylmer, The Lord Dunsany, The Count Roche, and The Baron of Fingal. Many other distinguished guests were present.
